O Grammy Awards 2023 acontece em reconhecimento aos melhores trabalhos da música lançados entre 1 de outubro de 2021 a 30 de setembro de 2022. As indicações foram anunciadas em 15 de novembro de 2022. Vale lembrar que a decisão de cada prêmio fica por conta dos membros votantes, ou seja, artistas, compositores, produtores, engenheiros, instrumentistas e qualquer outro membro da indústria fonográfica que fazem parte da Recording Academy.
Os membros podem votar em até 10 categorias, em até três campos em sua cédula, além de todas as quatro categorias do Campo Geral, mais conhecido como “The Big Four”(As Quatro Grandes): “Gravação do Ano”, “Álbum do Ano”, “Música do Ano” e “Melhor Artista Revelação”, sendo estas, as indicações de maior prestígio na cerimônia. Há cinco novas categorias na premiação deste ano, somando 91 ao todo – o maior aumento no número de categorias em 28 anos.

A 65ª edição anual do prêmio tem transmissão ao vivo pela TNT e HBO Max a partir das 21h15. O POPline, por sua vez, acompanha fielmente o evento e compartilha todos os detalhes, inclusive o que a TV não mostra, em uma cobertura intensa.
Dentre os indicados, Beyoncé lidera com nove nomeações – assim, ela e o marido JAY-Z compartilham o primeiro lugar como os artistas mais indicados da história do Grammy com 88 nomeações. Atrás da cantora estão Kendrick Lamar, Adele, DJ Khaled, Harry Styles, entre outros.
De quebra, o Brasil surge representado por Anitta, que concorre na categoria “Artista Revelação do Ano”. Ela pode se tornar a primeira artista latina a vencer o prêmio de melhor “artista revelação” em mais de 50 anos. Ela disputa o prêmio com Omar Apollo, Domi & JD Beck, Muni Long, Samara Joy, Latto, Maneskin, Tobe Nwigwe, Molly Tuttle e Wet Leg.
